Another #pixel_dailies submission for today. This is a gate near the forest. This is my first
larger isometric scene.

Today's #pixel_dailies submission. I wanted to do something that is not a simple
swirling of water, so I started out with the next thing that came to my mind, the
washing machine. Apparently it has some swirling water in it 😉
Yesterday's portrait was close to reality, but probably because of the pixel art restrictions it
ended up in the uncanny valley. I tried to take back on reality and move into a more cartoony
style (and a little more hair). Also added the Wacom pen in my hand to focus more on my artist side.

Today's picture is my self portrait, which I did this to update my Twitter avatar.

#Pixel_Dailies word of the day
Today I finally managed to get a working driver for the Wacom Intuos 3 drawing tablet.
For the initial shapes it is super helpful. For detailing... it needs some getting used to.
And another experiment with 32x32 pixel limit. This time I used the 1/3 ratio for head/body/legs,
which allows more area for facial expressions and hair, and shaded outlines also help create a
more elgant shape.
Today's drawing was inspired by our usual lunch at home. Cocktail tomatoes are
always part of the meal along with celery, spring onions, hard boiled eggs, various cold
cuts and cheese, and our home baked bread.
